Stamford Unveils Electric Vehicle Charging Stations

The City of Stamford has installed three electric vehicle charging stations in city garages. More will be added in 2012.

Speaking at a recent unveiling of charging stations, Mayor Michael Pavia said that he and other city officials would test the Chevrolet Volt as a possible addition to the city's fleet. "What it's going to do for transportation, travel, the Earth and sustainability is beyond anything we've imagined five years ago," he said.

Sustainable Stamford is proud to be a part of this initiative.
